You might worry that, once live, you will not be able to modify your website and that you will have to pay somebody a lot of money to keep it up to date. Most small companies, and even many medium sized companies, simply cannot afford to hire a web designer to maintain their systems. Nor can they afford to throw away good money on trivial changes.
The good news is that Shoestring Websites won’t charge you a penny for changes to your website within the first month of putting it live.
Updates to your site are completely free for the first month of it going live. The same web developer will work with you to make any changes you need for one month. That’s something you don’t see every day.
Why is it free?
I’ve built many sites over the years. Every single one of them needed more changes in the first month than at any other point in its life-cycle. While I was completing competitor analysis for the Shoestring Websites site, I discovered that most design companies don’t offer ANY support once the website is made live. The fact is your website will need updates almost as soon as it goes live. I want happy customers, and this seemed like the best way to achieve that.
What about after the first month?
Sadly I can’t offer free support indefinitely as I do need to make a living. If you need changes making to your site after the first month is over then I can make changes at my hourly rate. Normally this would be £35/hr, charged in 15 minute increments, but when the work is on a site that was designed by Shoestring Websites, the charge is reduced to a mere £20/hr!
